About Us
Na Pizzetta Organic is a food truck business with a strong passion for organic and high quality ingredients. "Na pizzetta" stands for "a small pizza" in Roman slang, but the real meaning is not about the size, it's more about the simplicity of a fresh yummy food to share with people you love.
Everything started back in 2017 when with a marquee, a pizza oven and lots of passion we began our journey with the mission of bringing our certified organic sourdough pizza around Brisbane, joining markets, microbreweries, festivals and private events. We met lots of amazing people and suppliers who share our same passion for natural, premium quality organic ingredients and we built important connections to pride ouselves for supporting local organic farms and small businesses.
We also started to import some of the best Bio (organic) Italian ingredients like Farina Bio, Mozzarella di Bufala, Tartufo and Pomodoro (organic crushed tomato) with the commitment of keeping our pizza authentic, healthy and delicious with respect for our best traditions.
In 2020 we introduced our food trailer "The Italian Stallion Gourmet Pizza", a horse float converted into pizza truck which replaced our stall setup at Northey St Organic Markets in Windsor and immediately became very popular at the best microbreweries in Brisbane, Bardon Bowls Club and private parties within the Brisbane region.
Since we immediately fell in love with our new pizza setup we created a new one on same style, mainly dedicated to private parties and celebrations, which became very popular for weddings and anniversaries.
Same amazing ingredients, same 48h Organic Sourdough Pizza (with a delicious signature gluten free base as available option), same love and passion for authentic Italian food, with a more extensive menu (not only pizza) in order to cater for any occasions. From Grazing Platters, homamade Gnocchi and GF Arancini to Sicilian Cannoli, Pizza Nutella & Berries and GF Nonna Style Tiramisù.
